Houseki no kuni - Land of the Lustrous (宝石の国 Hōseki no kuni (lett. "Il paese delle pietre preziose") è un manga scritto e disegnato da Haruko Ichikawa.In un lontano futuro, nasce una nuova forma di vita chiamata Houseki, detti anche Gems (pietra preziosa). I 28 Houseki devono combattere contro i Tsukijin (popoli della Luna) che vogliono attaccarli e trasformarli in ornamenti. Per contrastare questa minaccia, a ciascun Houseki viene assegnato un ruolo preciso come guerriero, medico e così via. Seguiamo le avventure di Phos, una Houseki a cui non è stato affibbiato alcun incarico, benché lei desideri diventare una combattente.
